BLUEBERRY-LEMON HAND PIES

2015-06-10_0002In this video, I show you how to make my BLUEBERRY-LEMON HAND PIES. Basically, they’re my take on the Pop-Tart. Eat ’em with a fork or pick ’em up with your hand…either way, these little pocket-size pies will change your life forever. An exaggeration you say? Find out for yourself!2015-06-10_0003

Let’s get started!

There you have it…my BLUEBERRY-LEMON HAND PIES. When you take that first bite, you’ll taste the sweet tang of the lemon glaze, followed by the rich, flaky and buttery pâte brisée, and finally the slightly-sweet blueberry filling. If you ask me, they’re pure perfection and perfect as a summer breakfast on the patio.

INGREDIENTS:

Pâte Brisée

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon Kosher Salt

1 Tablespoon granulated sugar

Egg Wash

2 eggs

2 Tablespoons heavy cream

Lemon Glaze
